Built in Portugal SEATÂ’s MPV shares the same proven Volkswagen engines. There is generous space for 5 plus luggage and all the rear seats fold and can be removed to provide a huge load area. Excellent value for money and with a generous specification the Alhambra should not be ignored. In the Alhambra range you can choose between 4 models - 1 petrol engine and 3 diesels. Starting with a 113bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine, there is also a 1.9-litre turbo diesel and a new 2.0-litre 138bhp turbo diesel. All models have six-speed gearboxes with a five-speed auto is optional. Fuel economy is pretty good for an MPV with the 1.9 returning extra urban figures of over 50mpg. With emissions around the 170 g/km mark the Alhambra has an E VED rating. Every Alhambra comes well equipped with even the basic Reference models coming with air-conditioning, front electric windows, a CD player and remote central locking. Stylance trim adds cruise control sports suspension, parking sensors, trip computer, heated front seats, 17-inch alloy wheels, electric rear quarter lights and a heated windscreen. Driver, passenger and side airbags along with anti-skid brakes, alarm, deadlocks, remote central locking and immobiliser are standard across the range. ESP traction control is available on top models. All models come with a 2 year unlimited mileage manufacturers warranty plus a further 1 year / 60,000 miles (whichever is soonest) retailer warranty. The combined warranty means that you are covered from the registration date of your car, for a total of 3 years or up to 60,000 miles, a (depending on which comes first). In addition you also get a 3 year paint and 12 year anti-corrosion warranty and 1 year breakdown cover.

To control the transfer of potentially polluting substances, both in use and at final management, SEAT has paid particular attention to the design of water-tightness so as to avoid accidental leaks; measures have also introduced to facilitate emptying of liquids.
